Philosophy elucidates what is unknown. The topics on this page may be necessarily esoteric, but that is the purpose of their existence. The visitor of this page may find some topics uncomfortable, but that is precisely why they are mentioned. The hope is that finding solutions to problems comes first by acknowledging their existence. Only once individuals have accepted an issue exists can a collective society as a whole find solutions or better alternatives.

Not all the views the author mentions he necessarily supports or endorses. A proper analyses of sensitive and complex issues requires some kind of detachment of the author’s real views and that of the material. Proper philosophy ought to be done this way, where mature examination is what takes precedence over convincing another of one’s personal views. These essays are meant to serve as exercises of critical thinking. Therefore, not everything should be taken as the author’s personal opinion unless otherwise stated.
